MEGA Rhodium mouth mirrors are coated with Rhodium on the glass surface. Rhodium is a precious metal like gold and it is chemically resistant, even against acids.

However, Rhodium is far more expensive than gold. In order to alternatively offer a front surface mirror which is less expensive, we developed a unique combination of highly reflecting layers resistant even against acids, based on our longtime experience. The result is our MEGA FS mouth mirror.

These two mouth mirrors distinguish only in one detail: The reflection of the Rhodium coating appears in slightly “warmer” colors, whereas the reflection of the new combination layer appears in slightly “cooler” colors.

In order to offer a more favorable front surface mouth mirror, we developed a unique combination of reflection layers on the base of our decades-long experience. The new FS-Combi-coating reflects with a cooler touch.
