Before you begin:

Rinse and disinfect the root canal;

Dry the root canal;

Determine the working length.

Technical specifications

A soft and flexible rod covered with gutta-percha allows obturating the most complex canals without loss of quality;

Each millimetre of the Soft-Core obturator shaft from 18 to 23 mm has circular grooves – the working length can be seen immediately, the head can be removed in one movement without the risk of pressure on the obturator;

The size of the verifier is completely identical to the plastic obturator carrier of the same size;

The obturators are coated with environmentally friendly, absolutely safe gutta-percha;

Rubber stop mark allows you to measure and set the working length;

Length of carrier – 24 mm;

Crown hollow part – 4 mm;

Cone diameter: ISO No. 20-No. 70;

Color coding of handles by size;

The plastic carrier and gutta-percha are radiopaque.

How the system works

The Soft-Core® obturator consists in all its simplicity of a radiopaque plastic core surrounded by natural thermoplastic gutta-percha. The plastic core is available in ISO sizes # 20-70.

The obturator is heated in the Soft-Core® oven, plasticizing the outer layer of gutta-percha.

The plastic core remains firm but flexible and therefore easily follows the curvature of the root canal.

It is a quick, easy and safe method to create a dense root filling.
