Description:
Dilaton-gel+ is a medical product for short-term use, produced in a non-sterile form,
for professional use by dentists, designed for chemical expansion of root canals of
upper and lower teeth, and and detection of canal orifices.
Composition :
-Dilaton-gel (white gel containing 19% Trilon B disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid),
- carbamide peroxide,
- water-soluble gelformingagent.
The main active ingredient is Trilon B; it softens the dentin of the root canal and dissolves the smear layer, increases the dentin permeability, which improves adaptation of the sealer to the canal walls.
Carbamide peroxide contributes to foaming in the canal, which facilitates the removal of dentin debris.
The gel-like form is convenient to use, serves as a good lubricant for endodontic instruments, and
the water-soluble base makes it easy to wash the gel out of the canal.
