COMPOSITION: sodium hypochlorite (5,25% of active chlorine), water Ph. Eur.

INTENDED USE :
Liquid for root canal rinsing. Removal of dead pulp residues during mechanical 
preparation of the root canal. It cleans the canal and removes the smear layer to 
expose the dentin root canal orifices before final filling.

Adapter with a plug for taking the liquid preparations into the syringe
1. Unscrew the bottle cap.
2. Screw the adapter on the bottle.
3. In order to use the bottle, remove the blue plug, screw the end of the syringe 
into the adapter opening, tilt the bottle with the preparation upside down and 
take the liquid into the syringe, while simultaneously holding down the adapter. 
Next, put the bottle upright on the table top and gently unscrew the filled syringe 
from adapter. It is recommended to use luer-lock syringes with a rubber plunger.
4. After each use, close the adapter opening with a blue plug.
5. For transport, remove the adapter and screw the cap on the bottle.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Insert CHLORAXID 5,25% into the root canal using the syringe with a needle with 
a side opening and start rinsing.
Sodium hypochlorite in the product inactivates immediately in contact with 
organic substances. Therefore, to compensate, the amount of the preparation 
should be increased to about 10 ml per canal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use the product CHLORAXID 5,25% for patients with hypersensitivity to 
the product’s components.

- CAUTION! While rinsing root canals, use physiological saline between rinsing 
with sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine digluconate. It prevents the 
precipitation of a brown deposit.
Rinse copiously.

PRECAUTIONS
- During root canal preparation do not use a too heavy stream of the liquid 
because it can cause the liquid to penetrate the periapical tissues and damage 
them, resulting in pain and swelling of soft tissues.
- Special care should be taken when the product is applied into perforations. 
Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
- In case of contact rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical 
advice.

- In case of consumption do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. 
Seek medical advice.

- Use rubber-dam while working with the product. The 
use of personal protective equipment (glasses, protective visor, gloves) is 
recommended.

DISPENSER IS NOT INTENDED FOR LIQUID STORAGE!
Any serious incident involving the product should be reported to the 
manufacturer and the competent authority of the State in which the user or 
patient is domiciled.

STORAGE
Store in original packaging at 2-8°C (in a refrigerator). Store in a securely closed 
packaging. Protect from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Expiry date is 
placed on the main container. 
Once the container is open, the expiry date doesn’t change if it the container is 
securely closed after each use.

TRANSPORT
The manufacturer allows transport of the product for a period not longer than 
10 days at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. Short-term transport within the 
given temperature range does not affect the safety and efficacy of the product 
throughout its shelf life.
